Mmmm, Robeks. One of my favorite chain smoothie joint, closely tied with Juice it Up! which has long been king due to high school nostalgia and the frosty tropical deliciousness of a Passion Punch on a hot summer's day. However, similarly, there is no denying that every smoothie I've had at Robeks is pretty flippin' delicious, although I usually stick with a Big Wednesday or Guava Lava. Robeks always has the right amount of sweetness and tartness for my personal preferences and its one of my favorite post-hangover hydration methods, especially since it includes the bonus illusion that I'm somehow being healthy (it has fruit, right? that negates all the sugar from whatever juices and yogurts they use? right? right? right?). This particular location is my go-to since it is close by--clean storefront, quick service and a parking lot that provides you with the delightful opportunity to play real-life Tetris with your car. Do nto besmirch my ears with talks of Jamba Juice. That ish is NAZT.

This is probably my favorite smoothie place in the Culver City area. The staff is friendly and there's always parking (even though it's a really small lot).

Acai Berry Energizer That is the main reason I am writing this review, I love that drink! I have been to Robeks many times, but didn't have a reason for separating it from Jamba Juice until this drink came along. You can get your standard selection of boosts to go with it, so take your pick there. What's in the Acai Berry Energizer? Well you have Acai Berries of course, mixed with some blueberries, strawberries, pineapple sorbet, non-fat yogurt and some soy protein. I can't get enough of this drink, and it is great for a hot LA weekend. The location itself is nice, located next to a Quiznos and a Starbucks, and at the edge of the Culver Plaza which has a lot of strip mall stores such as RiteAid, Yogurtland, GameStop, etc. The inside is small but clean and bright with the sound of blenders running like crazy. If you are passing by, it is easily accessible from the 10 by taking the Overland exit, or the 405 by taking the Venice Blvd exit.

Cucumber cool yummmmm! With apple, cucumber and lemon. So refreshing and good!

So I've been sick for about a month now. First, an Orochon-induced stomach bug (my bad), which exploded into a full-blown cold and then settled back into its previous stomach buggy state. I haven't been able to ingest much real food, and all I ever really crave and want is fresh fruit juice. Enter Robek's. I mean, this place is generally pretty decent, but unexciting and a tad overpriced. But, as I've discovered in the last couple of weeks, their Monkey-C juice (freshly-squeezed orange juice blended with banana) is one of the best things on the planet. And, $4.75 will nab you a huge 24 oz. cup, which is totally reasonable. I love it. Really, it's all I can think about. (This isn't exactly the best location though. Parking is wack and it's teeny-tiny, so may need to endure a long wait at times.)

Good place good services

Citrus Stinger Dr Robeks Cranberry Quest These are just a few of the myriad smoothies I get at Robeks, and each and every one of them are fulfilling and empowering. The selection is so far above Jamba Juice that I don't even consider JJ when I think of Smoothies. The staff at this location seems to make the smoothie as you order it, as I get my drink usually within one minute of actually ordering it. They are really good at this! Whenever I'm on my bike and in Culver City (which is often), instead of eating a lunch, I just ride by here and cruise around with my smoothie :) Could not be happier with this place!
(5)Nicholas M.
I used to go there everyday until I realized that most of the time the employees don't add the boosts to your drink. I didn't say anything to see if it was happening often and it was. I usually get the Rejuvenator which costs more because it has like 5 boosts in it, and am now wondering how much money I wasted paying for all of that when they weren't even putting the boosts in. I was going everyday because I needed to get vitamins and protein in the diet i'm on and this was a good way to do it. It's funny, they think that we can't see them not going over to where the powders are when making drinks. It takes like 2 seconds to scoop the powders in. That's some bullshit laziness. I gave them 3 strikes of not putting them in there to stop going altogether. I would just tell them, but I don't want to give anymore money to a place that was ripping me off without me knowing it. Suck it Robeks, I guess I can save $6-10 day.
(1)Pilar B.
I prefer Robeks over Jamba Juice. This location is ALWAYS clean and the staff are very friendly. I usually get the Strawnana Berry with Whey Protein, regular size. It's huge but fills-me-up! =D $4.45 to be exact so under 5 buckeroos. They have a small parking space next to it for 5 cars but there's plenty of parking in the shopping lot.
(5)Sonia I.
The juice is great, but it's served with a side of attitude by people that seem like they don't want to be there and don't know what they're doing. A woman named Karina glared at us behind the counter and was extremely rude. I don't think I'm going back, even if the juice is good. Who wants to have a negative encounter repeated??
(1)Alex K.
Pretty standard as far as Robeks goes... i agree with most yelpers in that the staff is knowledgeable friendly and very astute. If anything, they have over-qualified employees. The Drinks are all delicious and the energy shot is always free!!! Good choice for a cheap meal on the go Also s-bucks is next door so sometimes i believe you can get some WI-FI action: a pretty legit outdoor patio_ i write and smoke there(outside of robeks) although im not sure if you are allowed too. ~Alex
(3)David H.
Well, Robek's Juice has a great selection of fresh smoothies, and none that I've tried have disappointed me! My favorite drinks have to be 'Cupuaçu'; 'Tropical Caja'; and 'Mahalo Mango' Friendly workers, nice clean place!
(5)reiko H.
Yes, after my favorite smoothie place, juice it up went down :( I decided to try some new places but I thought I wouldn't find one until I stumbled on this place. I knew it existed and it was around when starbucks and jamba juice starting popping up in CA. I remember coming to this place and did not like the apple cinnimon smoothie and never wanted to come here again. That was 4 or 5 years ago. Then I went back and saw they had different kinds of things and tried the malibu peach, it was really good. So now I have found a good smoothie place :) I guess the morale of the story is that just because you didn't like one smoothie, doesn't mean you should stop going, try another flavor :P

Not sure how this location got such high marks, as today when I went in to redeem my Living Social coupon (hobbling and rather slow due to a fractured pelvis), they were nothing but argumentative, rude and very much not understanding. I handed them my Living Social coupon for $10 worth of Robek's products for that location only to have the cashier look perplexed and claim he had no idea what that coupon was for and they could not redeem it (I reiterated that it was for that location). A female employee came over and very sternly refused to honor the coupon, claiming it had expired (she was looking at the purchase date, which was in December 2011, not the expiration date which was May 1, 2012). When I corrected her, she refused to see her error and claimed they cannot take the coupon. Another customer walked in holding the same coupon, so finally the female cashier backed down and accepted my coupon, but not before calling her manager and trying to get out of taking it. I ordered a large Infinite Orange and a large Raspberry smoothie, offering to pay the difference as it was more than the $10 buck coupon. When my drinks came out, they were both filled 2/3 way full. I pointed out that it was not a large portion, and the male drink mixer poured both drinks back into the SAME blender, mixing the orange with the raspberry, then adding a ton more orange juice and separating them out into the same cups he previously used. He then snapped at me saying I was the rude one; I explained (while standing there on crutches) that I am nursing a broken pelvis right now and I would really appreciate his cooperation and I am sorry he had to re-make my drink, which was not made right to begin with. Finally I just decided this was not worth the hassle and I hobbled out on my crutches without redeeming my coupon. I'd rather just let it expire and use the paid value of $5 at a different location. The other customer standing there with her coupon also walked out.
(1)Brian S.
I love the g snap juice. This place saves me time from making the juice from my jack la lanne juicer. Cleaning up that juicer sucks, so I rather come here ane get it made. I can't complain.
(4)Antoine B.
I have no troubles with this location ever. They are extremely fast and efficient. I order and am out the door in less than two minutes most of the time.
(5)Tim G.
Smoothie places are usually filled with sloth-speed workers making mediocre juice drinks. This one makes consistently high-quality smoothies, and they do it in record time. I've been here probably 30 times and have never had to wait more than 2 minutes. Impressive.
(5)Sarah H.
Typical juice bar offering a variety of smoothies, shakes/freezes, (both with your choice of nutritional boosts), acacia bowls and large line of other nutritional supplements. I love the 12 oz. Polar Pineapple tropical smoothie (papaya juice, strawberries, pineapples and pineapple sherbet blended up with ice). PROS: The place is clean, staff was professional and the price is right. CONS: Parking can sometimes be tough to find since they share a lot with a Bally's gym, Starbucks and other stores and restaurants.
(4)Kindra K.
I used to eat everyday here fo rlunch and it is the best. There is another not tooo far that sucks (on national) they ALWAYS MESS US. If you want a cool refreshing drink go to this one on Overland
(5)Spencer K.
Whenever I've come to this Robeks, it's smelt like bleach. The parking is really small, but if you park in the lot just behind, you'll be ok.
(4)Jean P.
I like this place despite the fact that the smoothies are not the healthiest thing to get after a workout since the stuff is loaded with a lot of sugar. I usually get one if I do not feel like eating anything else for the next six hours or so, and I want to supplement it for my meal. The customer service is great and the workers are fast.

BUSINESS: HEALTH FOODS FARE: HEALTHY RESTAURANT ACCESSIBLITY: This Robeks is fairly easy to get to, it is located on the major street of Overland, you can utilize the small parking lot adjacent to it (about 3 cars) , the larger Starbuck parking lot (16 cars), or even the parking lot that houses Bally's and other stores. PRODUCT: Robeks doesnt seem as popular as Jamba Juice, however, to me the product is superior. Depending on the smoothie that you order, Robeks has a much smoother texture as opposed to the coarseness of Jamba smoothies. I have tried 3 different smoothies, and that is what I like about this place. You can try different varieties and still be equally pleased. My favorite is Malibu Peach, (Papaya Juice, Peaches, Non-fat yogurt, ice), which truly taste like a freshly harvested peach blend. The other standouts are Polar Pineapple(papaya juice, strawberries, pineapple, pineapple sherbert) and the new Green Tea Sensation(Matcha green tea, soy milk and Non-fat yogurt). For Polar Pineapple, visualize a ripened pineapple being hacked with a machete, then added to a berry blend, not to sweet but very robust with flavor. As far as the GTS, picture a green tea Sobe elixir some how transformed into a shake, yielding a very refreshing healthy beverage. STAFF: The staff is hardworking and motivated. I ordered a Green Tea Sensation recently, and it was made in a timely manner. Essentially, while im ordering, the other worker will listen to my request and begin the process. After my smoothie was poured out of the cannister, i asked for the extra that was left. It was given to me with a compliment for not wasting food. That's different, but appreciated, it is sometimes these minute pleasantries that leave a lasting impression on the consumer. OVERALL: Since they receive a 90 out of a 100 from me, that translates to 4.5 stars out of 5. Again, for me to give a 5 rating, i need amazing. However, Robeks did do a GREAT job, and they are consistent with their level of business.

South Pacific Squeeze and Mahalo Mango are so damn good...
(5)James Y.
I just went back to this Robeks yesterday and was surprised to find the interior had been completely renovated! I miss the wood, but the new interior is fresh and colorful without being too much. I broke out of my Acai bowl zone and tried the 800 pound gorilla just for kicks and it was great. Highly recommended!
(5)Daisy C.
I used to come to Robeks a lot more, but I've laid off the juice as of recently. After a very long day & night yesterday, I ended up sleeping in (at least by my standards). I had loads to do and it was almost lunch time. I figured I would treat myself to a little hump day treat and grab a Robeks. This location in particular is perfect, because it's on the way home. This location has its own 6 spot parking lot; however, there is a shopping center adjacent to it with a huge parking lot, in case theirs is full. The staff is always friendly and the venue is always clean. I've always been more partial to the sour/tangy smoothies. While I enjoy my sweets, I don't enjoy sweet drinks. Today I got the Passionfruit Cove (in medium) Passionfruit-Mango Juice, strawberries, peaches and ice. Usually it comes with Pineapple sherbet - but I asked for the all-fruit option. It was perfect and refreshing. I also enjoy South Pacific Squeeze, Pomegranate Passion, and Pina Koolada. I do wish that they would put the nutritional information for their dairy-free versions on the website.
(4)Michael P.
Staff here is amazing! It is Robek's so you expect consistency and fresh ingredients but customer service can be hit or miss in such businesses. Not here! Always greeted with a friendly smile and quick with a recommendation if the menu gets to daunting. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a great pick me up!
(5)Ally M.
Indecisive of what to get, the cashier was very helpful and knowledgeable and suggested to try out the hummingbird, which I love to always change it up. I never stick to just one. Needless to say, they made it to perfection. Love love going to this specific Robeks. Everytime I go, the whole staff is quite friendly and enthusiastic. I feel so welcome and not rushed at all. I totally recommend this place, staff is friendly and attentively, smoothies are awesome and not to mention with their remodeling status, this place rocks even more so!
(5)Daniel D.
Good, quick, and very efficient service! Great customer service aswell! Two thumbs up on my behalf!
(5)Allen T.
Love this location. Quick service in the morning. Love my Pro Arobek and my double shot of wheat grass! Morning crew rocks!
(5)Carla C.
Love the vibe of the store, everyone is nice, everyone greets you once you walk in and they give me exactly what I want with no hesitation. So far I love it. Try it out.
(5)Christina K.
They still have the banana split. It's just not on the menu for some reason.
(3)Phoenix R.
Can't help loving their smoothies since first time came here! All made of fresh fruits, both tasty and healthy. Service is good at all time. Store is always clean and smell good. I would definitely recommend Robeks to all of my friend!
(5)åç’‡
I feel suddenly refreshed once I entered the store. The store is clean and filled with fresh scents of vegetables and fruits. I had wheatgrass juice and it was great. They make it with organic wheatgrass.
(5)Jamie J.
I like to come to this Robeks whenever I am in this area . Hummingbird smoothie used be my favorite drink but lately I always stayed with their Veggie smoothies : Tropikale and Age buster are very tasty and healthy. They have very friendly staffs who always work efficiently. Additionally, the tuna sandwich is so delicious so I like to order the Sandwich and smoothie comb for my meal. I feel that I am drinking and Heath .
(5)Raven R.
Now I won't be going back there :( they got me hooked on almond milk and date shakes because it works with my blood type and my Diet and now they no longer carry them! Thank You! For the shot of heroin without a refill jerks!
(3)Jack U.
Not a good experience. My smoothie and Acai bowl were made poorly. Go to Live Right Acai instead. Way better and locally owned.
(1)Michael G.
Totally remodeled store. Store is super clean and modern. I use to enjoy my visits but now it's even better. Specially since when I order my fresh juices I could see exactly what their using. Everything in there juices is fresh unlike other chains that use frozen or purée veggies/fruits. Staff is very efficient in getting your order done even when they have a line out the door. Love the evergreen as a juice. Smoothies like the Acai energizer and polar pineapple.
(5)Ruby K.
I've had nothing but the most positive experience at Robeks. Their smoothies never disappoints, there's never a long wait for my drink, and the staff seems friendly. My favorite smoothie I order all the time is TropiKale. One thing I do have to say is that Robeks should improve on training their staff and get them more knowledgable on the products they sell and the smoothies they make. A few times, the person taking my order couldn't quite explain the details of certain boosts I had asked about. Example, I asked about the energy booster and if it contains ginseng, but the cashier looked back at the menu to search for the answers. Maybe this cashier is a rookie or maybe not. That's the only thing I can say they have an opportunity on.
(4)Rachel D.
I had the SWEET GREEN smoothie and ACAI BOWL. For a new juicer I was suprrised at how good the smoothie was. It wasn't overly sweet, just enough, it was good. But that acai bowl, though. That was legit. So very good! Didn't expect it to be so tasty! Like froyo almost with fresh banana slices. Amazing healthy menu options. Included with cliff bars and 'healthy' brownies and assortments at the counter. A tad pricey
(4)Jamie B.
Service was great. Small parking lot is next to it so you can avoid the huge lot for the other stores. The pina koolada was great if you like coconut and pineapple!
(4)Glenn A.
This place has the most horrible employees ever, my drink is never made right. I went in today to get a naturally mocha and when I got it tasted like cookie dough! WTF! And I ask why it tasted like that. And they said " oh we ran out of coffee beans!" But it still taste the same!" Umm no it doesn't so I ask if I could change it for a different drink because I didn't like the taste of the first drink and they said no! Have a nice day! I hope management looks into how they hire people, or hope they get fired!
(1)Alton H.
Lemon ginger and cayenne pepper shot are amazing! The place knows how to efficiently put out some juice. If you show up at 9am there is going to be a good sized line but there are few establishments that would be able to handle the volume that this Robeks Juice does. They even have a 15 min parking zone that usually has a space. If you are looking for a quick refresher they got an easy choice if you are near Overland Dr.
(4)Jack G.
Great selection of smoothies!!! Love this place!
(4)Nichole N.
This place is amazing. My favorite drink is the polar pineapple with chia seeds. The tuna sandwich is very delicious. The staff work together as a team and get it done I have never waited more then 3 minutes for my drink. I'm usually paying when they bring my drink up to the counter. When they are busy they always have a smile on their face. They have great music :) enjoy!
(5)Marvin R.
Great service! Even greater juices! What more need I say? Very close to my job so it's a win win for me
(5)Schmeez E.
They have a variety of juice combos and smoothies. I always get the evergreen and every ingredient is fresh and raw.
(4)Ben B.
Okay, no. Listen, there are precious few times in my life where I feel smoothie. These are hard times, Dust Bowl times, Financial Crisis times and they will suffer no nonsense. Robeks, however, has nonsense on tap and happy hour on lies. I refuse to believe the Raspberry Romance or whatever fruity name it had (Honestly, how do you make a pink smoothie FRUITIER?) actually had fruit in it. What it tasted like was pureed banana paste with red syrup and ungodly amounts of sugar. I powered through it like the masculine champ I am that orders pink fruit drinks and towards the end got my straw stuck on a chunk of god knows what. I picked it out and looked at it, trying to somehow fit it into some modern interpretation of a raspberry but alas, I could not. This was some abomination of smoothie technology, a horrible cross-pollination of syrup and berry. As I looked on in horror, I swear I saw it sobbing. Good prices, though.
(1)Sonya Z.
Robeks is not my favorite, but it works in a pinch. It's a cross between a Jamba Juice (pre-healthy offerings) and a real juicery (like Juice Crafters or Kreation). They have mostly sugary yogurt smoothies, with a couple real ones and acai bowls and wellness shots. The prices are great. You can get an absolutely massive smoothie for seven bucks.
(3)Aisha H.
I spent $5 for about 8 oz of juice. The lady asked if I wanted ice, I said yes. So they gave me less juice. When I asked about it she said they only fill to the line. They leave the top inch of the cup empty which would not normally be big deal for me... but for a small you are not getting much to begin with it. Lame. I'm mot coming back to this location again.
(1)Dude E.
I love this robecks! I can't wait until they finish the construction around this area. It makes parking super annoying. Seems like this construction has been going on forever. I miss having a place to sit outside at Robecks! There is alternate seating at the subway/coffeebean next door, but it's always super crowded.
(4)Joyce T.
The staff is friendly and the juice is good. What more can you want? It's a bit pricey but it's never crowded in the mornings and I'm usually in and out in less than 10 minutes!
(4)Suray K.
Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! If your purpose for getting a juice or smoothly is because it's a healthier option, then getting one at Robeks' defeats the purpose. They don't seem to use quality ingredients, they don't seem fresh or locally grown or organic, the high school kids they employ seem indifferent,(I know somebody got to employ them, and who else's going to do it but a company willing to exploit cheap labor), they don't use quality machine, but most of all it fails the taste test. I get the same combo of veggies or fruits for my juice and smoothly wherever I go, and this was the worst. I'd recommend Rainbow acres, Santa Monica Co-op, or even Whole Foods they are the same price and in the case of Rainbow acres cheaper but certainly better than Robeks. True, these places are not as convenient if you live around here, in that case get a good quality juicer and make it at home. You'll enjoy it more and save money in the process.
(2)Robin S.
I come here pretty often since I work out at the Culver City LA Fitness and live 5 minutes away! I usually get the green juice with kale, spinach, apple, celery, and lemon. Last time, I ordered the juice with beets, celery, carrots, and cayenne pepper. The employee put a bit too much cayenne in my drink, so next time I'll have to ask them to go easy on the cayenne. But overall, great juice spot! Prices are pretty reasonable as well. It's a lot cheaper than some of the juice bars in Hollywood/West Hollywood. Definitely better than Jamba Juice. For their fresh juices, they don't add any flavoring or frozen fruit. I've seen them add the ingredients into the juicer and it's all fresh and healthy!
(4)Kayla O.
woot woot. Robek's juice BEATS Jamba juice except there's no Robek's juice in the Bay. Love their Berry slim, thick please - an acai smoothie with pineapples and blueberries. Add protein powder for 50 cents, perfect post workout drink especially in hot LA. nutritional value also provided on their menu :)
(5)Carolina Z.
Seriously, try the fresh juice menu. YUM.
(5)Katie G.
Great tasting smoothies! I would recommend the Hummingbird. I also like that they have a selection of Think Thin bars. The service was pleasant, but they had quite a few young ladies working and they all seemed really bored. I got several smoothies, and they were not labeled (had to do a taste test to tell them apart). It seemed like the ladies working were pretty bored with their summer jobs. This will not deter me from coming back here for a delicious smoothie.
(3)Lois K.
Discovered their naturallylight selection today and I love it! It's perfect for me since it's dairy-free and I like that it's not overly sweet. The smoothies on that menu are low in calories, sugar, and carbs. Had the jr sized banana-mango w/ the free Immunibek boost and it was the perfect drink for a hot SoCal summer day. I've always been a loyal Jamba fan (and still am!) but it's always nice to have other options. The employees at this location were also very friendly, attentive, prompt and got my order to me in a third of the time it takes for a drink at Jamba!
(4)Grady G.
Better than Jamba Juice. Pretty fast service here.
(4)Ivan R.
Always very nice and greed you with a smile...they take the time to explain things in detail, very fast service in and out. It does get packed. But there is tons of parking in the back and the patio just got recently renovated.
(4)Molly R.
I love the Nature's Best menu--specifically the Tropi-Kale and the Super Green smoothies. I order them dairy-free, so they're super light and healthy. These two in particular do not have banana. I find that most smoothies at Robek's and Jamba Juice are overloaded with banana, a cheap sweet filler that's not really what you want to taste in your nearly-$7 smoothie. The staff here are friendly and fast. The prices feel a little ridiculous, especially how you have to pay $.50 extra for dairy-free. But that's what I get for being too lazy to make my own smoothies.
(4)Armando Z.
i loved this place! they have the best juices... and the customer service is awesome!
(5)Katy H.
Love this place. Staff is always friendly and I get my juice real quick after a hard workout at the gym.
(5)Jared H.
One of the best ways to start a morning, love this place.
(4)saint james o.
Nice
(4)Taylor G.
This place is great, way better than Jamba Juice to me. I wish there were more of them around. The sweet green juice mix is great for you. That Kale flushes your whole system. Also, try the Venice burner - Good Stuff
(4)ashley a.
The service is def 5 stars, but the prices and options are 4 stars. I have a juicer at home. So once I saw the prices for a juice I was immediately grateful that I invested in a juicer. I got the super green smoothie with a fat burner boost and ginger, while my friend got the super green smoothie with cayenne pepper, greek yogurt, and whey protein. All in all it cost us 14.88. The staff was super friendly and patient as I asked them what their favorite drink was? Do they blend or juice the ginger for the smoothies? What's their most popular drink? Then I pretty much ignored all of their suggestions and got what I wanted, but they didn't seem to mind. I would love to have an option where I could pick and choose 3 or 4 ingredients for a set price instead of paying extra for substitutions etc.
(4)Pillin L.
I've been a Jamba and Juice It Up girl my whole life. Never really heard of a Robeks. Sure I've seen them around, but never tried it. But now that I have, I can't get enough! They're concoctions are delicious! Granted I've only tried 2, but boy were they tasty! South pacific squeeze is my personal favorite. We've made Robeks our go to spot after working up a good sweat playing volleyball in Santa Monica. So having a big cold delicious smoothie always hits the spot! We usually arrive around 9:15ish and receive barely passable service. I totally understand that you guys close at 10 but come on, let's not make us feel like we're disturbing your closing up process 45 minutes prior to closing! Not cool. Why do we keep going back? Well my sister lives a couple of blocks away and it's the only Robeks in the area and we love their smoothies that damn much. Oh I'm such a sucker for a sweet juicer.
(3)Polly P.
It cost me close to an outrageous $7.00 bucks for a six ounce (teeny, tiny) smoothie at this clip joint. They charged me extra because I didn't want the super sugary soy sherbert and yogurt in my smoothie. Yes, you read that right -- I was required to pay extra money ($2!) to get them to leave ingredients out. When I asked the counterperson why I was being charged extra for leaving out the more expensive ingredients, she came back at me with a snotty non-answer. Robek's is overpriced and the smoothie was underwhelming. And it wasn't because I had them leave the junk food out. Next time, I'll take a pass on Robek's to go to the dependable, affordable and infinitely tastier Jamba Juice. They make better, healthier smoothies anyway.
(1)Nate O.
I've been in to this Robek's location about a dozen times, since I live nearby and work out at the gym next door. Each time I went, except once, I had a great experience. They typically make the drinks quickly and are courteous and cheerful. They also offer a 10% discount if you go in after working out at the LA Fitness next door. The place always seems clean and bright, and smells like a typical smoothie shop. One time, the employee working the counter had an attitude and was borderline rude. Also, I can't seem to find a description of the various boosts they offer - though most of the names make it pretty obvious what the benefits are. Aside from these, I have no complaints.
(4)Audrey W.
What's not to like about smoothies and juices? Wish they let us choose how strong we'd like the flavors cause mine seems always watered down.
(3)Candy Q.
I was addicted to juices from this place for about 2 weeks straight, until....one day I actually watched the guy making my juice and realized that not only did he put about 3/4 apples in my juice and hardly any of the other veggies, but HE LEFT THE STICKERS ON ALL OF THE APPLES AND PUT THEM THROUGH THE JUICER. I was so shocked I walked out like a zombie, drink in hand, and threw it away minutes later. Wow.
(1)Jacqueline N.
When I was juicing I went here everyday twice a day! Wow pretty good juice and nice staff. You will always see people post workout come in here. Parking is easy too! Nake sure to try the lemon ginger shot!

It's a smoothie place...I'm guessing only like 2 people in the world have never been so I won't explain it to you. BUT, the annoying thing: if you have "shots," and the names aren't descriptive, add descriptions. Yes, there's a sign listing all of the names, but what the HELL is in a "Cardiobek," or a "Powerbek"? I'd love to just look instead of have the cashier explain every single one to me.

At heart I am a Jamba Juice girl, but this Robeks is open past anything remotely juice related in the area and parking just next door is easy to get in the evenings. The best thing is getting freshly squeezed orange juice with carrots and bananas for less than $5. I don't think I could buy that at the market for less and I don't have to buy some crazy Jack Lalane Juicer contraption...score!

I love the choices at Robeks Juice. These guys know what they're doing and very good at it. I'm always greeted with smiles and professionalism, and they're very efficient. I've never been to any other location but this one since it's on my way to many destinations. It's always clean, cool and organized. Plenty of nearby car parking spots of their own little parking area or the adjacent center. Next to it is Subway and Coffee Bean too. I REALLY LOVE and appreciate their point reward sys. My favorites are hummingbird and 800 lb Gorilla "I never eat/liked peanut butter except this smoothie! REALLY good". Keep it up guys.

I don't know whose idea it was to train new people on a hot weekend at 1 PM, but they need to have their priorities straight. An elderly man took all of our orders, unable to see the cashier's screen or hear us over the blenders. New employees pacing back and forth doing absolutely nothing but chatting & hugging each other. All while I stand there waiting until I can wave someone down to hand me my drink, which has been sitting in the blender. I always get warned that their drinks and acai bowls are never consistent, but against my better judgment the idea of a fruit cold beverage called to me. And so I went. It was 100+ degrees out so I desperately wanted a delicious smoothie, but instead I found a room full of sweaty people (myself included) crowding inside and outside. What I believed to be a 5 minute experience, turned out to be about 20 minutes. Bravo for the the new decor, but it's summer so please find an efficient way to take orders, make drinks, and hand them out.

I waited to try this place a couple times before judging. The smoothie I got was a 'Big Wednesday' which was basically just like orange juice from the local grocery store but with ice in it :/ it was just 'meh' to me but I've def had better so it didn't stand out to me. It was okay for fixing my random smoothie craving but if Jamba was closer I'd probably go for it instead. It did not taste particularly 'healthy' but rather just a regular sweetened drink/smoothie, actually after taking another sip just now it reminds me of SUNNY DELIGHT! lol I had a juice here once and accidentally said no ice.. It was really bad and tasted like celery put into a blender :/ it was recommended by the girl when I asked the first time I came, kinda left me disappointed. Service seems to be hit or miss.. Overall this place is okay if super convenient as was for me.

This is my local store and I would go 2-3 a week after the gym. After debating if i should get a drink from gym juice bar i picked robecks. Wish i didnt. I had such a horrible experience that this is will be my last time. My drink was made poorly. I ordered a medium drink. Person who made it didn't put correct measuments. After pouring it in cup l and it was not enough. They proceeded to made scoops of ice cream/yogurt to make it for the cup. I asked if that is properly made and if it has the same calories. Worker proceeded to give me attitude and said there is nothing I can do then ads more yogurt it's not enough. Welll....maybe the measuments should be put in correctly! That's a thought. I Paid 6.99 for a drink that I three away. I wont be coming here again!

It was my first time at this location, and I ordered two acai especial bowls to-go. Fortunately for me, I chose the bowl WITHOUT the short curly strand of hair in it. Unfortunately, my colleague got the shorter end of the stick. I'm actually hoping there wasn't a strand of hair in mine either, but I ate too fast.. . so who knows? Hair aside, it was pretty good. I enjoyed the fresh coconut shavings on top, and the service was nice. I'm just not entirely sure if I'll be coming back to this location, the curly strand threw us off a bit. :(

Now if you think Robeks has just juice, you have another thing coming. Sandwiches and soups, along with protein shakes and smoothies makes Robeks a complete place. The menu is fab, and the service is wonderful. I got the Malibu Peach - Papaya Juice, Peaches, Non-fat Yogurt - and it was more than good. A little pricy, a little caloric (159 small, 333 medium, and 461 large) -- and it's one of the least. Ouch for a meal replacement, thus, a 4 star. ========================== What makes this location unique? ========================== Seating: It's teeny-tiny small, only one table for two, and a little bit of window/counter seating (for 2-4). There is, however, dynamite outside seating. Parking: At a premium, but doable.

Still love this place! All day everyday! And now... So does my pepper poodle.(see pic. he's longing for a blueberry.) Nice little seated area off to the side next to pretty flower boxes! Great place to meet up with friends for a quick hello - today I got a dr. roebecks smoothie Mmm... Health tastes good. Wait, what's up with all these good looking men in the culver plaza? Oh yea, it's culver city! My mr.poodle totally fits in.

I love this store. A young Hispanic woman always makes the best South Pacific squeeze! She always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude.
